The ECOLEFINS is organized in seven work packages, including research and development efforts up to communication, exploitation and project management activities. In specific:
01
Design, develop and apply cer-cer co-iconic membranes
02
Design, develop and apply effective cathodes and anodes
03
Prove the concept of C2-4 = electrosynthesis in ci-EMRs
04
Execute a dissemination and knowledge exploitation plan
05
Employ CFD modelling for industrial scale ci-EMRs
06
Elaborate the marketization planning of the concept
07
Techno-economically/environmentally evaluate the concept
08
Perform acceptance/awareness studies
09
Simulate industrial scale ECOLEFINS processes
10
Scale up to short-stacks and tubular-modules
Activities
The ECOLEFINS is organized in seven work packages, including research and development efforts up to communication, exploitation and project management activities. In specific:
WP1 will create modelling tools for the ci-EMR components and assemblies.
The novel electrode-catalysts and interfaces for CO2 reduction will be developed in WP2, whereas the ceramic electrolytes and anode half-cells are explored in WP3.
WP4, includes the validation of the assembled cell reactors with components identified from WP1-3.
WP5, will explore the techno-economic, environmental and social prospects of the proposed process by getting insights from WP1-WP4..
The last two, non-technological WPs are dedicated to the communication, dissemination and exploitation activities (WP6), as well as to the management/coordination activities (WP7).
