ECOLEFINS at the Royal Society of Chemistry Solid State Group Early Career Researcher and Christmas Meetings (16-17 December 2024), Birmingham, UK

Kerry McMahon by USTAN attended the Royal Society of Chemistry Solid State Group Early Career Researcher and Christmas Meetings earlier this week (https://sscg.uk/2024-sscg-christmas-meeting and https://sscg.uk/2024-ecr-meeting). During the ECR meeting Kerry gave a flash talk where he introduced himself and the work related to ECOLEFINS project and then followed this up with a poster at the SSCG Christmas meeting. Both meetings were held at the University of Birmingham and were attended by many people in the solid state community (mostly from the UK). There were around 45 early career researchers (mostly PhDs and post docs) at the ECR meeting and around 250 people from across the solid state chemistry community at the Christmas meeting.
